Pal Market is a smaller convenient store located in East Palo Alto. For several years they have been recycling all of the cardboard that comes into the store. Recently, with the help of Recology San Mateo County, they started the single stream recycling program and are now recycling all their bottles and cans and paper waste in addition to cardboard. With this program they have been able to diver t over 80% of their waste. They are a great example of what other small businesses can achieve in East Palo Alto
