St. Anthony’s Padua Dining Room is a local charity organization in North Fair Oaks that provides hot meals on a daily basis and also runs the Clothing Distribution Center two days per week. They have been long committed to issues of sustainability and have had a successful recycling and composting program through BizSMART. They are able to keep their levels of diversion above 90% due to the commitment of educating their staff and volunteers by keeping posters and literature visible throughout the facility, and color coding their containers to make sorting more efficient.
