On behalf of its Member Agencies, RethinkWaste provides contract management and oversight specific to the individual Franchise Agreements for collection services with Recology San Mateo County. We also monitor South Bay Recycling's (SBR) performance in operating the Shoreway Environmental Center under contract to RethinkWaste.
Key contract management activities include:
- An Annual Rate Review of Recology's and SBR's revenues and expenses
- Review of Contractor Monthly Reports, including performance metrics for collection services, call center and operational results.
- Review of Contractor Quarterly Reports
