Holiday Waste Reduction Tips
With the holiday times approaching, you can play an active role in reducing the amount of waste that is discarded into the landfill. Here are a few simple things you can do:
Reduce :: Give waste free gifts
Purchase gifts of time, such as movie or theatre tickets, restaurant gift certificates, or a museum membership to please even the most persnickety consumer.
Reuse :: Incorporate reuse at company parties
Rent plates, glassware, and linen for your parties. Not only will your guests appreciate your effort, but you'll be making less waste!
Recycle :: Recycle holiday glam
You can recycle your tree, gift wrap and boxes, and even empty eggnog containers.
Do your part to help the planet: reduce, reuse, and recycle!
